Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for the Float Pool to provide preventive, supportive, and nursing care based on the nursing process and hospital policy. You will float to units with completed competencies, assess patients, and document responses to interventions as part of an individualized care plan.

You will contribute to patient safety, collaborate with patients and families, and maintain clear communication.

Qualifications

• Current Utah RN license or RN Compact license.
• 1+ year medical/surgical acute care hospital experience.
• Completion of an accredited RN program.
• Must communicate clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Float to all units where competencies are completed.
• Provide nursing care and assess patient needs.
• Document patient responses to medications and interventions.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans with patients and families.
• Maintain patient safety and accuracy in medical records.
• Collaborate with patient/family and adapt to age-specific needs.
