Job summary

University Health KC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Lakewood Medical Center Float Pool in Kansas City, MO. This full-time role (36 hours/week) runs 6:45 PM–7:15 AM and supports patients with acute, chronic, or terminal conditions.

You will assess, plan, delegate, and evaluate nursing care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Missouri RN license, and BCLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on diagnoses and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Adhere to Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational/regulatory requirements.
