Job summary

MultiCare Health System's Tacoma General Hospital seeks a Staff RN to join a hospital-based team. This .75 FTE daytime role leverages your nursing training to deliver patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will collaborate with nurses and physicians, advocate for patients, and contribute to quality improvement and education. WA RN license and BLS are required, BSN preferred with 2 years in acute care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required or obtained within five years of hire.
• Advanced nursing degree preferred (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP).
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or MLS.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Two years of experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Use nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care for diverse patient populations.
