Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Float Pool RN to support multiple units at Banner Boswell Medical Center. The role emphasizes assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care across Progressive Care, Med/Surg and other units.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is required or preferred.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or background requirements may apply where specified.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and provide comprehensive nursing care per policy and plan of care.
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the health team.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient progress accurately in the medical record.
• Support education and mentoring of staff where appropriate.
