Job summary

Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse for Med/Surg, ED, and Perioperative areas. The role includes rapid assessment, coordination of care, and working within a high-acuity urgent care-like environment.

This RN position requires WA licensure (or compact), BLS at hire, and ACLS/PALS within designated timelines. The role offers a differential up to $11.50 per hour, including weekend differential, and supports patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Current WA RN license required at hire or compact license acceptable.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS/PALS within specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing nursing assessments and develop/adjust plans of care.
• Provide care in a fast-paced, high-acuity urgent care environment.
• Coordinate with health care team and communicate with patients and families.
• Deliver patient teaching and discharge planning as needed.
• Maintain KFHPW documentation standards and safety practices.
