Registered Nurse (RN) position in a part-time float pool. Responsibilities include patient assessments, care planning and implementation with emphasis on quality outcomes. Involved in ongoing education, orientation, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications include an ADN/BSN/BA with MSN, BLS, and RN licensure (GA or multi-state). ACLS/PALS/NRP must be completed within 6 months where required by unit.

Competenze

• Required nursing degree (ADN/BSN/BA with MSN).
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS, PALS or NRP must be obtained within 6 months of hire (where applicable).
• Current RN license in GA or a multi-state compact license.

Position Status: Part Time

Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional registered nurse responsible for the nursing care of a defined patient population. Care is provided through the use of the nursing process and in a manner that is cost effective while maintaining quality of care and optimal patient outcomes. The RN performs assessments, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions and evaluates the effectiveness of care. The RN participates in unit based and organizational quality improvement initiatives, meets continuing education requirements, participates in student/new employee orientations/teaching activities, upholds Patient Care Services philosophy and objectives, demonstrates professional growth and development through involvement in professional organizations, reviews professional literature and participates in continuing education programs.

Position Requirements

• ADN, BSN, OR BA/BS with MSN.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Support (BLS).
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP (only in select units/departments) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Current Registered Nursing License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license.
