Job summary

Genesis is hiring Float Pool Registered Nurses for full-time with eight-week rotations at three North Carolina centers: Siler City Center (Siler City, NC), Meridian Center (High Point, NC) and Abbotts Creek Center (Lexington, NC).

You will deliver nursing care to residents with complex diagnoses, collaborate with the care team, and help families understand care plans. CPR certification and an active RN license are required to join our mission of quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks and interventions are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.

Responsibilities

Change the lives of our patients/residents and at the same time enjoy the rewards of fully knowing your patients/residents and their families as a Registered Nurse - RN. You will provide care for a variety of patients/residents with an array of complex diagnoses leading to enhanced knowledge and skills in many different areas.
