Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. seeks a Regional Float RN to join its in-house float pool in Maine. The role features 12-hour shifts (day or night) on a full-time basis, delivering high-quality nursing care to residents and actively participating in a collaborative care team.

You will perform nursing assessments, coordinate with colleagues and other disciplines, and help develop effective plans of care to improve patient outcomes in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing is required.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

• Deliver nursing care and achieve positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a Regional Float RN, you will deliver efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. You will also manage patient care by performing nursing assessments and collaborating with the nursing team and other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing is required.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors at the work site when responding to their medical and physical needs.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs and Behavioral Centers; ALFs/ILFs as required by State).
