Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Frankfort Regional Medical Center seeks a Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in varied units. The RN will assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor conditions and participate in care planning with the team.

The role requires Tennessee license? (see notes) and current BLS; ACLS within 6 months. Hospital experience preferred; benefits and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Current BLS required
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• Minimum 2 years hospital nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs; carry out physician orders
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, cleanse wounds, monitor vital signs
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems
• Educate patients and families as part of the Multidisciplinary Care Planning team
