Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read/write and perform basic 4 function math.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• CNA Certification preferred but not required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and assist with daily patient needs.
• Document and report observations to the nurse.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and comfort of patients.
• Collect specimens as needed and assist with intake/output tracking.
• Assist with nutrition and meal service, including feeding when required.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under RN supervision.
