Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a MA program (not required to maintain certification after hire)
• Completion of first semester nursing program (not required to maintain certification after hire)
• EMT program completion (not required to maintain certification after hire) or equivalent education/experience
• 1 year of acute patient care experience
• 6 months experience in direct patient care environment with clerical support for Provider/Patient documentation or charting
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Experience with basic data entry
• 6 months Phlebotomy skills. Proficient.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with team to provide direct patient care and optimize outcomes.
• Assists RN/NP during clinic visits by performing procedures as needed.
