Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, hygiene, feeding, mobility).
• Anticipates family needs and adapts care to patient requirements.
• Collaborates with health care team to improve patient care.
• Floats between Barry Road and Smithville Campus as needed.

Saint Luke’s North on Barry Road is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. This is a great entry level position with on the job training available for an applicant that has been interested in joining the healthcare field but is not specifically certified. This opportunity is also a great position for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) that is looking for a supportive workplace to call home. You will have the opportunitytohelp improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience by floating between departments as needed based on staffing and patient care needs. Shift Details

Full time night shift 6:45pm-7:15am, 3 shifts per week; Floats between 2 locations: Barry Road and Smithville Campus

The Work

• Providespatient care under the direction and supervision of an RN.
• Providesassistance with activities of daily living and care, such as bathing, personal hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning.
• Anticipatesthe patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion.
• Individualizesand modifiescare according to the patient’s needs.
• Collaborateswith other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
