Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Float Pool Nurse – Critical Care. Part time, rotating shifts, 60 hours in a 6-week schedule, flexible shift options, and free parking are offered.

You will report to the Director of Patient Placement Staffing and apply the nursing process to plan and manage care for med/surg/tele or related patients. Requirements include a BSN (MSN preferred), active RN licensure in Maryland or compact state, BLS, and at least 2 years in a Critical Care/ICU setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree; MSN preferred.
• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in a Critical Care/ICU setting required.
• Must have availability to work 60 hours in a 6-week schedule.

Description:

• Reporting to the Director of Patient Placement Staffing, the Float Pool Nurse demonstrates applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of med/surg/tele or med/stroke patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning.

Required:

What you will need

Pay Range: $47.78 – 58.05

Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
