Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA, is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for its Float Pool. You will provide basic bedside nursing care, assist in multiple units, and work under supervision of physicians or RNs.

The role supports emergency, critical care, medical-surgical, maternity, and pediatric nursing needs. Requirements include CA Vocational Nursing License, BLS, CPI within 30 days, and at least one year of acute care LVN experience.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum one year in an acute care setting as an LVN.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside nursing care under supervision.
• Collaborate with physicians and RNs across units.
• Observe patients, document changes and report promptly.
• Perform routine labs, feed patients, monitor intake/output.
• Potentially supervise Certified Nursing Assistants as needed.
