Job summary

Valley Health Partners in Allentown, PA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a hospital-based outpatient or physician office setting. The role supports patient care under the supervision of an RN or medical provider and includes front desk clerical duties.

The ideal candidate has a PA-licensed nursing degree, BLS certification, and 1 year of LPN experience with 3–5 years in pediatric care preferred. Hybrid travel to multiple locations is possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program and licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.
• One year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 3-5 years experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a pediatric setting, physician's office, or Federally Qualified Health Center, preferred.
• 2-3 years experience working within a complex health system environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aids with various healthcare services following established policies and protocols including obtaining specimens, conducting routine lab studies, and assisting with administrative functions as a member of the clinical care delivery team under the direction of an RN or medical provider.
• Functions as a member of the clinical care delivery team for a hospital-based outpatient department or physician practice.
• Provides designated clinical care to patients under the direction of an RN or medical provider.
• Performs clerical/administrative duties associated with front desk operations under the direction of the Practice Manager/Director and/or Site Manager or Office Coordinator.
