Job summary

Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Float Pool Nursing Assistant to join our team. The position offers full-time hours with a 3–12 hour shift pattern and on-the-job training for non-certified candidates.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with potential night and weekend differentials. We value teamwork, patient-centered care, and a respectful, supportive work environment focused on improving throughput and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNA or on-the-job training provided (6 weeks).
• Provides direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assists with activities of daily living and meals/hygiene.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Provides assistance with activities of daily living and care such as bathing, hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning.
• Anticipates the patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion.
