Job summary

Genesiscareers seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our regional float pool across affiliated skilled nursing centers in Maine. The role involves delivering compassionate nursing care, supporting patient comfort, and meeting care plans while working at least two shifts weekly or full-time hours based on open shifts, including every other weekend.

The position requires completion of a state-approved CNA program, proficient English communication, basic computer skills, and ongoing CE

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant program is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients and visitors at the work site.
• Basic knowledge of computers or willingness to learn is required.
• Must attend a minimum of 12 hours continuing education programs provided by the center to maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient and effective nursing care as a Regional Float CNA across affiliated centers.
• Work a minimum of two shifts per week or full-time hours depending on open shifts, including every other weekend.
• Perform patient care activities and related non-professional services essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.

Responsibilities

We have Certified Nursing Assistant -- CNA float nursing pool opportunities available at multiple affiliated skilled nursing centers within a geographic area. Work a minimum of two (2) shifts a week including every other weekend or full-time hours depending on open shifts.

As a Regional Float CNA, you will deliver efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. You will also perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of our patients.
