Qualifications

• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Kansas license and CPR certification.
• Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment.
• Proficient with EMR systems, databases and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans.
• Review referrals and medical records to determine PT treatment.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Oversee care provided by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Create a written plan of care, set goals, and develop a comprehensive program.
• Implement PT treatment and essential therapies.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation: daily notes, reports, evaluations, discharge summaries.
