Job summary

Labcorp in Centennial, CO is seeking a PRN Float Phlebotomist to cover Medical Clinics across the Denver metro area. The role offers PRN hours with a base schedule during business hours and occasional Saturdays.

You will perform venipuncture and specimen handling, enter patient data, travel to multiple sites as needed, and provide excellent customer service. A high school diploma and phlebotomy training or certification are preferred, with 3+ months of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training preferred.
• 3+ months phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
