Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist for Overland Park, KS. This part-time role supports multiple clinics, performing venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, while ensuring accurate patient data entry and high-quality service.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid phlebotomy certification or equivalent training is preferred, and flexibility for Saturdays with potential travel to other sites. Incentive pay applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred (1 year+).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work Saturdays and travel to additional sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Provide excellent patient service.
• Handle administrative tasks as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
