Job summary

ProPath Services, LLC in Georgia is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Operations team. You will perform blood draws, document specimen data, and ensure patient comfort while maintaining safety protocols.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification preferred, and at least two years of phlebotomy experience with data entry. The schedule spans 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., five days a week, across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Two years of current phlebotomy experience is required and one year of data entry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws competently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible.
• Utilize standard procedures to identify the patient, record appropriate collection information, label and record all test tubes, log procedures and enter specimen data into computer system.
• Responds quickly, courteous, and in a professional manner towards patients, client staff and coworkers. Resolve issues and ensure quality patient care.
• Follow standard precautions at all times. Routine handling of biohazardous and or chemical hazardous material.

Float Phlebotomist Position

Location: Georgia

Will work at multiple locations throughout the day. The schedule will vary, will need to be available to provided coverage between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., five days a week.
