Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team across multiple California locations. You will prepare sterile products, manage inventory, and support pharmacy operations to ensure efficient patient care.

Must hold a California Pharmacy Technician License in good standing and be willing to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends. Experience with compounding is preferred and we value strong communication and teamwork in a high-volume setting.

Under the guidance of the Pharmacy Tech Supervisor, you will:

• Prepare sterile products, including chemotherapy, investigational drugs, and biologics
• Ensure smooth operations by maintaining inventory, organizing your workspace, and keeping supplies well-stocked and ordered on time
• Take on various tasks assigned by pharmacy management to help us achieve operational excellence

Schedule: Monday-Friday, variable hours between 7:00am-6:00pm, based on department needs. This role will require you to float and travel to multiple locations.

Hourly Salary Range: $36.49-$48.13

Qualifications

We're seeking a strong pharmacy technician with:

• Pharmacy Technician License in the State of California in good standing
• Available to work various shifts and locations including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
• Experience compounding non-hazardous and hazardous preparations
• Ability to maintain drug inventory and usage log and order drugs as needed to maintain an appropriate supply on hand
• Ability to speak with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds to obtain information and explain procedures
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow technicians, pharmacists, volunteers and individuals in other work areas, and in a high volume under the stress of frequent interruptions and/or distractions
• Skill in performing repetitive work according to set procedures and sequence
• Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills
