Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Addison, TX seeks a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Location: 16479 Dallas Pkwy Ste 310, Addison, TX 75001.

Schedule: Mon-Thu 11:30am-5:30pm CST, with duties including customer service, inventory, and deliveries. Qualified candidates hold an active TX license, have reliable transportation, and can use their own vehicle for local deliveries.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacy Technician license.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to use your own vehicle for deliveries and mail runs.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions under direct supervision of Pharmacist.

We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Location: 16479 DALLAS PKWYSte 310 Addison, TX 75001

Site Hours: Monday - Friday (Mon - Thu 8:30am - 5:30pm CST, Fri 8:30am - 3pm CST)

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 11:30am - 5:30pm CST

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to asset in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
• Will be required to make daily drop-offs to Fedex or post office; will need to make occasional local deliveries when needed

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Texas
• Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
• Ability to use own's vehicle for deliveries and mail runs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
