Job summary

Meijer in Urbana, IL is seeking a Float Pharmacist to support multiple store locations. You will ensure accurate dispensing, patient education, immunizations (where permitted), and mentorship of pharmacy technicians.

Licensed in Illinois, you will rotate through stores, participate in central processes, and help maintain high standards of patient care within the Meijer pharmacy network.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in Illinois.
• Experience mentoring Pharmacy technicians and supporting teams.
• Ability to educate patients and provide immunizations as required.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients and team members.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform clinical services including immunizations where allowed.
