Job summary

PRN Physical Therapy is seeking a Float Patient Service Representative who is bilingual preferred to deliver exceptional front desk and administrative support across multiple clinics in the Las Vegas area.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect information, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience while traveling to partner clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• Proficient with basic office software and scheduling systems.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and schedule appointments in person or by phone.
• Verify patient information and insurance details accurately.
• Maintain patient records and support front desk operations.

Job Title: FloatPatient Service Representative (Bilingual Preferred)

Pay: $15-20/hr based on experience & skill set

Schedule: Full Time

Location/"Home" Clinic: 3831 W. Charleston Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89102

Travel: Yes, travel Required to other Kelly Hawkins PT clinics throughout the Vegas area as needed

The candidate would be responsible for clinics in their region. On a daily basis they my work at the clinic closest to their home, however, will be required to travel as needed for new hire onboarding and PTO/Sick time coverage.

About the Role

As a Patient Service Representative at PRN Physical Therapy, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Duties & Responsibilities

Patient Interaction:

• Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries both in person and over the phone.
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring the patient’s needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.

Administrative Support:

• Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Assist in keeping front office area neat, tidy and organized.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient experience.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.

Communication and Coordination:

• Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff, and other departments within the facility.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to address patient concerns or questions.

Miscellaneous Operations:

• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Assist in managing inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency in using office software and scheduling systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.
