Physical Rehabilitation Network, LLC. is seeking a Float Medical Receptionist (bilingual preferred) to join our patient services team. You’ll greet patients, schedule visits, verify insurance, and support front desk operations across multiple clinics in North San Diego.

The role requires travel to other clinics, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a competitive hourly pay of $19–22 with full benefits. Prior healthcare customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare admin education is a plus.
• Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency with office software and scheduling systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to stay professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Patient Service Representative at PRN Physical Therapy, you'll be an essential part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Brand: PRN Physical Therapy

Pay: $19-22/hr

Schedule: Full time - clinic is open M-F 7:30am-5pm

*this position requires travel to our other clinics in North San Diego*

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries both in person and over the phone.
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring the patient’s needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy. Help provide customer service, a smile.

Administrative Support:

• Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Assist in keeping front office area neat, tidy and organized.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient experience.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including but not limited to: answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.

Communication and Coordination:

• Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff, and other departments within the facility.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to address patient concerns or questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Assist in managing inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency in using office software and scheduling systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.
