Gateway Diagnostic Imaging is seeking an experienced, patient care-oriented Float Patient Service Representative for our Dallas-area locations. You’ll be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth experience from check-in to check-out, including scheduling, insurance verification, collecting payments, and supporting front desk operations.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm. Expect premium base pay, monthly bonuses, and an exceptional benefits program as part of our commitment to you.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in a medical office setting or hospital.
• Experience with authorizations and insurance verifications.
• Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for diagnostic exams and procedures.
• Assist with authorizations and verifications.
• Check in/out patients and answer multiple phone lines.
• Provide accurate information to the billing office and verify insurance.
• Ensure patient data is accurately entered and records are filed.

Position Summary:

As a Patient Services Representative (PSR), you will serve as the first point of contact for patients visiting our Dallas imaging center. You’ll be responsible for ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. This includes scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and supporting overall front desk operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Schedule Patients for Diagnostic Exams and Procedures
• Assist with Authorization and Verifications
• Checking In / Out Patients
• Answering Multiple Phone Lines
• Provide Accurate and Complete Information to Billing Office
• Insurance Verification
• Ensure Accuracy of Patient Data Entered Into System
• Process Requests and Filing of Patient Records

Requirements:

• 1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office Setting or Hospital
• Experience in Authorizations and Insurance Verification Needed
• Ability to Handle Heavy Patient Volume
• Strong Customer Service and Computer Skills
• Ability to Multi-Task
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred
