Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System seeks an Experienced RN for the Ultimate Float Team at the Sarasota Campus. You will provide professional nursing care across 20+ units with opportunities to float to specialty units, including ICU and Pediatrics as needed.

Role requires ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and BSN or higher. Competitive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and certification incentives are offered. 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, day or night options available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program or diploma.
• BSN preferred within specified timeframe as per policy.
• Two years of relevant work experience.
• ACLS within six months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care across multiple units on the Ultimate Float Team.
• Adhere to ANA/AACN Standards and SMHCS policies.
• Possess adaptability to float to ICU and Pediatrics as needed.
• Participate in orientation, mentorship, and certification programs.
• Receive certification pay for approved credentials.
