Job summary

Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking a patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team in Alabama. This PRN, part-time position assists with vacation coverage and staffing needs, with daytime and evening shifts and occasional weekends.

ARRT/ARMIT registration, MR advanced registration, and state licensure are required. An associate degree in Radiology or equivalent is required.

• Must be registered by ARRT in Radiography and ARRT/ARMIT MR registration required.
• MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT required on hire.
• State licensure for the practicing state must be met.

PRN (as needed to assist with vacation coverage, gaps in coverage, and other staffing needs)

outpatient imaging centers in Madison and Huntsville, AL

Schedule

We are seeking candidates available for both daytime and evening coverage, with the possibility of occasional weekend shifts. Evening and weekend hours are eligible for shift differential pay.

Requirements

Education

• Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

License/Certification Requirements

Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
