Job summary

AXIS Spine and Pain, a PartnerCare Affiliated Company, seeks a Medical Assistant to join our team. The float role supports Warner Robins, Macon, and Dublin clinics across Georgia, ensuring a warm patient experience and accurate EMR documentation.

You will work with physicians and advanced practice providers, prepare patients for visits, assist during appointments, and help maintain clean, stocked exam rooms. We value compassion, teamwork, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistant program required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience with C-arm fluoroscopy and knowledge of procedures including RFA and SI joint injections preferred.
• Proficiency in EMR systems; eClinicalWorks experience a plus.
• We prefer at least two years of experience but are willing to train newer teammates with the right focus on patient care, service, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service, compassion, and care to our patients as part of the care team.
• Assist with medical appointments, prepare patient information, and ensure smooth visit flow.
• Clean, stock, and prepare rooms; document accurately in the EMR.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistants/ Aides program

Current BLS/CPR certification

ACLS certification

Experience with pain management

C-arm fluoroscopy knowledge
