Conviva Senior Primary Care in Jacksonville seeks a Float Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care, performing clinical and back‑office duties, inputting data into EMR, taking vital signs and assisting providers. The role includes travel within Conviva clinics as needed.

Required: active MA certification, 3+ years MA and phlebotomy experience, state licensure (RMA/CMA), CPR, and TB screening due to patient-facing work. Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant Certification or Registration from one of the listed organizations (AAMA, AAH, AMT, ARMA, Foreign Medical and Nurses, NAHP, NAHT, NCCT, NHA, MedCA).
• 3+ years MA and Phlebotomy experience in back-office direct patient care.
• Applicable State licensure in field of study (RMA/CMA).
• Medication/vaccine administration experience.
• CPR Certification.
• TB screening due to patient-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms and input data into the EMR system.
• Take vital signs and administer injections.
• Perform diagnostic tests and collect specimens; draw blood.
• Maintain examination rooms and prepare equipment for procedures.
