Job summary

Family Health Source is hiring a Medical Assistant to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, clinic-based setting across multiple locations in Northeast Florida. You will welcome patients, document vitals and histories, assist with examinations, vaccines, lab tests, and coordinate follow-ups while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

This on-site role requires CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification, strong communication, and the ability to travel between Pierson, DeLand, Deltona, and

Qualifications

This role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
Current CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA certification is required.
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

Welcome and room patients, verify information, and document vital signs.
Document medical history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints in the EMR.
Prepare examination rooms and assist with examinations and minor procedures.
Administer vaccines and medications per established protocols.
Perform venipuncture and collect specimens as needed.
Conduct point-of-care testing (glucose, HbA1c, rapid strep, etc.).
Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient confidentiality.
