This position will float to different Teen Centers in the area.

Scope of Work

Under the direction of management and physician leadership, performs and oversees functions related to clinical activities, including but not limited to maintaining patient flow, assisting in primary and preventative health care delivery, performing technical procedures, lab protocols, and activities under physician/provider direction. The Medical Assistant III will assist management in achieving office efficiencies in accordance with policies and procedures, supporting physicians, clinic staff, and management to embody the "Service First" philosophy to promote customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Completion of an accredited MA program, including clinical rotation, or equivalent experience (required)
• 1 year (12 months) MA experience; or completed CH MA internship with 6 months MA experience; or completed CH MA apprenticeship program (required)
• 2-3 years of relevant MA experience (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC upon hire (required)
• At least one certification from the preferred list (optional but preferred)
• Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA) or LPN license, with 90 days to obtain (required)
