Job summary

SynergenX Health is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to support Dallas-area clinics onsite. You will interact with patients, take vitals, perform venipuncture, injections, and assist with lab processing.

Training is provided and travel between Rockwall, Richardson, Frisco, Plano, Southlake, McKinney, Walnut Hill, and Prosper is required. No certification or license is required upfront; attendance at a two-week training program helps you succeed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED – proof required.
  • Minimum 3 months of relevant medical experience OR 180 externship hours.
  • Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required.
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform venipuncture and IM/subcutaneous injections preferred.
  • Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and interact with patients in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Perform manual patient vitals.
  • Perform routine blood draws and venipuncture.
  • Administer IM and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider.
  • Maintain lab equipment and required documentation.
  • Prepare and process laboratory testing.
  • Complete quality control documentation.
  • Assist with inventory and ordering.
  • Support front desk duties when needed.
  • Work closely with providers and clinic teams.
  • Help maintain smooth patient flow and clinic operations.
  • Create a positive and welcoming patient experience.

This is more than a typical Medical Assistant role. As a Float MA, you'll have the opportunity to work with different clinic teams, meet new patients, and help keep our Dallas-area locations running smoothly.

No certification or license required! We provide 2 full weeks of paid training to help you succeed.

The Flexibility You'll Need

This position will support our Dallas-area clinics based on business needs.

You must be willing and able to travel between:

Schedule
  • Monday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

2-3 Saturdays per month. When you work a Saturday, you will receive a weekday off.
