Join us as a Float Medical Assistant at CommonSpirit Health

We are seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to support our fast-paced clinics within the Franciscan Clinic-Bremerton Float pool. This full-time position offers competitive pay, a great schedule, free parking, and no weekends or major holidays.

About Your Role

As a Medical Assistant, you will work as part of a care team to provide support to patients under the supervision of a physician or mid-level provider. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients, preparing them for visits, recording vital signs, and collecting relevant health information
• Assisting with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures such as blood draws, skin tests, and injections
• Administering medications and vaccinations
• Managing patient flow and providing patient and family education
• Preparing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining equipment and care areas
• Scheduling appointments and performing administrative duties
• Participating in ongoing education, meetings, and committees
• Potentially performing medical scribe duties under supervision in accordance with policy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant certification program
• Preferably, one year of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Washington State Certification as a Medical Assistant-Certified
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
