Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a Float Medical Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate care for patients across med/surg units. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive physical and psychological support to patients and families.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, documentation, and education.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience.
• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, and medication administration.
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to support patients and families.
• Dok a comprehensive roundings and communication to maximize patient satisfaction and safety.
• Document accurately and maintain equipment and supplies as part of daily workflow.
• Utilize nursing process to meet patient needs and apply clinical skills.
