Overview

The ideal MDS float candidate is detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to provide bedside resident assessments and meet with families. The ability to travel Monday through Friday is required.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Provide MDS coverage for open positions, educate staff, and implement programs related to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), Prospective Payment Systems (PPS), Quality Measures (QMs), Medicaid Casemix, and Medicare guidelines for all SHC stakeholders.
• Assist and collaborate with the Clinical Reimbursement Specialist during onboarding of new MDS Coordinators.
• Exhibit competency in RAI, Care Planning, PPS, Medicare, and Medicaid Case Mix when applicable.

What You Need to Make a Difference

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the ability to obtain multi-state licensures.
• Minimum of five (5) years of MDS experience in a long-term care setting.
• 80% - 90% travel with overnight stays.

ROAD WARRIOR NEEDED FOR AN EXCITING ROLE! TRAVEL REQUIRED MON-FRI THROUGHOUT IN, KY, TN, VA, AND NC – EXPENSES PAID.

Two years of MDS experience in LTC/SNF setting is required. Hit the road with purpose—support multiple facilities, grow your skills, and get paid to travel!
