Job summary

Miami Erie Family Practice & Pediatrics is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to float across physician practices. You will perform nursing assessments, document care, and collaborate with physicians to implement orders.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care in an outpatient setting, with a focus on privacy, teaching, and teamwork, and requires BCLS certification and Ohio licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio.
• Clinical skills in delivering patient care in an outpatient setting.
• Obtain and maintain BCLS Healthcare Provider Course certification.
• Experience in medical practice or outpatient clinic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in outpatient physician practices through the nursing process.
• Greet and escort patients through the medical practice.
• Complete nursing assessments and document in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and health team in implementing orders.
• Communicate with patients and health team; maintain privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain infection control guidelines and assist with other duties as assigned.
