Optima Care Fountains in Secaucus is seeking an experienced LPN/RN to provide compassionate nursing care for residents on a 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm floater shift. The schedule will be determined by need, offering flexibility to cover staffing gaps.

Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting physicians, monitoring vital signs, documenting observations, and supporting patient education. The role requires teamwork, vigilance, and a commitment to safe, quality care in a facility

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN required.
• Experience providing bedside nursing and documentation.

Optima Care Fountains is seeking a dedicated and experienced LPN to help care for residents in their Secaucus location.

This position will be a floater position to cover on the 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm shift. Schedule will be determined by need.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
• Prepares for and assists Physicians and others with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Reinforce supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families.
• Participates with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the appropriate individual(s).
• Records on patient charts observation of patient's responses to nursing care rendered.
• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients.
• Assists with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned.
