Job summary

Boly Welch is seeking a Float Legal Practice Assistant to support attorneys across multiple practice groups in a fast-paced, in-office role in our Portland office. The role covers PTO absences, overflow projects, and coordinated scheduling across civil litigation and transactional practices.

You will draft, format, proofread, and edit a wide range of legal documents and correspondence, while coordinating filings and deadlines with state and federal courts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a civil litigation assistant required.
• Notary certification or willingness to obtain certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys and teams across multiple practice groups.
• Draft, format, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence.
• Coordinate legal work through communications and ensure prompt production and delivery of documents.
