Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice is occurring.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Plan and coordinate care, patient assessment, triage and education.
• Follows Nurse Practice Act and administrative rules in state of practice and licensure.
