Responsibilities

PRIMARY

  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings, meeting patient volume goals for both modalities.
  • Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitude (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) to deliver excellent patient care. Provide guidance as necessary to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
  • Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
  • Ask patients situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide appropriate guidance to ensure quality care and satisfaction.
  • Engage with clinical leadership, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns, aligned with our company values.
  • Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in-patient care as determined.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and proper forwarding of charts daily. Build and maintain credibility with all employees.
  • Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, prioritizing patient-centric care, safety, cost-effectiveness, and accuracy.
  • Conduct activities in compliance with department expectations and regulations, including HIPAA and other federal and state guidelines.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment across both in-clinic and virtual settings.
  • Manage telehealth patient queues promptly to ensure proper follow-up.
  • Order, perform, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications responsibly, and educate patients on treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Follow clinical practice guidelines set by the Office of Medical Affairs.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising physicians and participate in E/M training.
  • Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols.
  • Complete mandatory compliance training and adhere to company core values: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Propose ideas to improve patient experience and care, both within the clinic and via telehealth leadership.
  • Maintain regular communication with the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including clinic tours, process overviews, and training support.
  • Build and sustain confidence and credibility with colleagues.
  • Maintain friendly, professional relations with clients and staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Perform physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions as specified.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and confidentiality policies.
  • Consult with patients through virtual channels effectively.
  • Proven experience as a Telehealth Clinician.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • PRN employees must work at least 4 shifts per month; full-time employees work 12-hour shifts every other weekend.

  • Level 1: New graduates with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
  • Level 2: Providers with over 1 up to 5 years of experience.
  • Level 3: Providers with over 5 up to 10 years of experience.
  • Level 4: Providers with over 10 years of experience.
Experience and Education Requirements

Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).

Experience: 1-2 years in relevant practice areas such as Urgent Care, ER, Trauma, or Family Medicine preferred.

Licenses and Certifications: Active license and DEA; DOT certification within 120 days of employment, maintained during employment. Must be able to treat all ages and meet credentialing requirements.

Additional Licensing and Compliance

Must adhere to all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, and meet all licensing and certification requirements.
