Aurora Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Caregiver) for a float role in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. You will support individuals with disabilities in residential settings, assisting with daily living, self-care, transportation, and meal planning to promote independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for consumer transport.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks as needed.
• Basic reading, writing and internet navigation skills.
• Experience with adults with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seek opportunities for community/social integration.
• Help plan and prep consumer activities and outings.
• Assist with self-care tasks (dressing, bathing, grooming).
• Medication administration assistance.
• Meal preparation and planning.
• Transport consumers to activities and appointments.
