Job summary

Concerto Renal Services is seeking a Float Dialysis Nurse to join its team of traveling clinicians. The Floater provides direct hemodialysis care, assesses patients, administers medications, and educates on renal health.

As a Float, you will travel across the Region to fill in for staff on vacation or leave, supervise dialysis technicians, monitor treatments, document outcomes, and coordinate with physicians to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct hemodialysis care, administers medications, and educates patients on renal health, treatment, and self-care.
• Delegates tasks to dialysis technicians, supervises their performance, and ensures compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
• Monitors patient response to dialysis, adjusts treatment plans as needed, and ensures accurate documentation of interventions and outcomes.
• Works closely with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care, report critical lab results, and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Maintains accurate electronic medical records, ensures timely completion of care plans, and adheres to safety and regulatory protocols.
