Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Float Cook to deliver high-quality meals across multiple Minnesota locations. The role is part-time, hourly, and requires flexibility to travel between sites while maintaining culinary standards.

You’ll prepare meals to meet dietary guidelines, support the culinary team, and uphold food safety compliance. Previous quantity and scratch cooking experience is valued, with ServSafe preferred and a culinary degree encouraged.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in quantity and scratch cooking.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Culinary degree preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Vivie facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare & Serve Meals - Serve meals with flavor, presentation, and nutrition in mind, following dietary guidelines and adapting to each location’s needs.
• Support Managers & Teams - Ensuring smooth kitchen operations and model teamwork under the supervision of the Manager of Culinary Services.
• Maintain Food Safety & Sanitation Standards - Including proper handling, storage, and food safety compliance according to MN food-code.
• Other Duties as Assigned - Assist with special events, including banquet-style and fine dining meal preparation.
