Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Float Pool to join our team across multiple practice locations in Virginia Beach area and surrounding regions. The role offers diverse clinical experience and travel across Virginia/North Carolina sites with differential pay and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

The position requires a CMA certification with BLS within 90 days of hire; travel is essential, and the base compensation ranges from $21.69 to $32.14

Qualifications

• Less than a year of related experience is required.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of CMA experience in a physician practice, ambulatory clinic, or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• The CMA performs patient care and administrative/clerical tasks under supervision of the physician, NP/PA, RN, or LPN.
• Travel to support staffing across multiple Sentara Medical Group locations and affiliated hospital settings.
• Clinical and administrative duties as trained and delegated.
