Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Test Pilot (UH-72) for Barstow, CA. The role involves performing test flights, evaluating airworthiness after maintenance, and coordinating with crews to ensure safe operations.

Candidates should have extensive aviation maintenance experience and substantial PIC time. The position offers CBA-based hourly compensation, with comprehensive benefits, and requires the ability to travel to support contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of aviation maintenance experience.
• Prefer a minimum of 1000 Hours of Pilot in Command time.
• Must pass FAA Class II flight physical and hold FAA instrument rating.

Responsibilities

• Perform test flights and demonstrate aircraft proficiency after maintenance or modifications.
• Determine airworthiness per publications before flight release.
• File flight plans and maintain weight and balance and related records.
• Coordinate with pilots and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Assist safety and inspection duties as required.
