Job summary

Hermeus is seeking a seasoned flight test professional to lead and execute taxi and flight operations for the Quarterhorse demonstrator aircraft in a fast-paced, startup environment.

You will oversee the transition from remotely piloted to autonomous systems, maintain expertise on Quarterhorse, and author/test procedures and reports while collaborating with engineering and editors to deliver essential flight documentation.

Qualifications

• FAA transport pilot rating or military equivalent required.
• Flight test experience or test pilot school graduate preferred.
• Knowledge of FAA Airworthiness requirements preferred.
• Experience writing test plans and procedures desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute taxi and flight operations for the Quarterhorse demonstrator aircraft.
• Oversee transition from remotely piloted to autonomous system to meet program objectives.
• Maintain subject matter expertise on Quarterhorse demonstrator aircraft series.
• Plan and develop ground and flight test procedures, run cards, and reports.
• Collaborate with engineering staff and editors to deliver flight manuals and technical documentation.
