Job summary

Gulfstream Savannah seeks a Flight Test Engineer to support on-aircraft flight test operations and data analysis. You will be placed into a core flight test engineering group based on background in Aerodynamics, Avionics, or Powerplant systems.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in flight test planning and reporting, and proficiency with data processing tools. Candidates should be prepared for an on-site position in Savannah, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; 5 years in a technical discipline or 10 years broad engineering experience.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and performing design, analysis and liaison engineering for Gulfstream products.
• Proficiency with MATLAB or Python and data processing techniques.
• Experience with flight test data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with on-aircraft flight test environments.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to planning, coordinating and execution of flight test projects.
• Provides specialized technical assistance to team members.
• Uses advanced techniques and adapted theories to solve complex problems.
• Develops approaches to solutions within schedule and cost objectives.
• Acts as liaison with stakeholders outside the assigned group/area.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
