Job summary

CoAspire, LLC, a defense engineering leader, seeks a Flight Test Engineer to plan, coordinate, execute, analyze, and report on missile and weapons flight tests. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to validate performance, safety, and mission effectiveness across realistic profiles.

The role requires 2–8 years of aerospace test experience, a related bachelor's degree, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Travel and testing across the US are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in aerospace-related field.
• Hands-on experience planning and supporting complex flight tests.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD, DO-178 or equivalent standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plans for missile flight tests, including ground and open-air campaigns.
• Assist test operations with conduct, monitoring, and safety coordination.
• Define objectives, data requirements, and test strategies integrating modeling and live tests.
• Analyze test data to assess performance and suggest improvements.
• Support MDO efforts by linking test data with engineering models.
• Prepare technical docs, summaries, and test reports for leadership and customers.
• Ensure compliance with engineering specs and safety requirements.
